[FCN-LPG / Parasol Heater Introduction Case] Zetton Inc.
A case where the LP gas used for heating parasols in dining establishments was switched to Fujigas Carbon Neutral LP gas, resulting in a net CO2 emission of approximately zero.
We would like to introduce a case where "Carbon Neutral LP Gas (FCN-LPG)" was implemented at the restaurants managed by Zeton Co., Ltd., which operates dining establishments nationwide. Zeton has been using our outdoor heater (parasol heater) at the terrace seats of their restaurants for some time. In pursuit of decarbonization and sustainable growth, they decided to switch the LP gas for the parasol heaters to FCN-LPG. With this implementation, they achieved a reduction of approximately 87,000 kg-CO2 annually. 【About Carbon Dioxide Equivalent】 A unit that converts the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions, absorption, and storage into the weight of carbon dioxide that has a corresponding greenhouse effect. It is expressed as t-CO2 or kg-CO2. The calculation uses the emission factor of "3.0t-CO2/t (3,000kg-CO2/t) for 1.0t (1,000kg) of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)" as defined in the Ministry of the Environment's "System for Calculation, Reporting, and Publication of Greenhouse Gas Emissions." ghg-santeikohyo.env.go.jp/calc 【About Fuji Gas Carbon Neutral LP Gas (FCN-LPG)】 This is Fuji Gas's original carbon-neutral LP gas that can offset the greenhouse gases generated from the consumption (combustion) of LP gas using carbon credits, effectively reducing CO2 emissions to zero. 【About J-Credits】 These are "credits" certified by the government for the reduction of CO2 emissions through the introduction of energy-saving equipment and the use of renewable energy, as well as the absorption of CO2 through proper forest management. They can be used as reliable domestic credits for carbon offsetting.

【Case Study】 ■ A commercial building operating company in Tokyo Switched the fuel for outdoor heating, specifically the parasol heaters used at some restaurant tenants' terrace seats within the operating building, to FCN-LPG. The LP gas fees incurred by the tenants will be borne by the respective tenants, while only the cost of the offset credits will be covered by the operating company.
