[Case Study in the Food Sector] Ground Meat
Introducing a case study on the implementation of a deforming pump for the transportation of minced meat!
Here is an example of the transfer of minced meat in the food sector. Previously, a snake pump was used, but it required pushing the transfer liquid into the pump with a pusher from the mixer, leading to issues such as space constraints and labor-intensive operations. By using a deforming pump, self-priming from the hopper without a pusher became possible. Additionally, the use of a non-contact pump reduced the risk of foreign material contamination and shortened the time required for disassembly and cleaning. [Case Overview] ■ Purpose: Transfer from mixer to filling line ■ Model: Twin-screw pump with degassing function, VQ type ■ Liquid Name: Minced meat ■ Issues: There was a risk of foreign material contamination with contact pumps, and disassembly and cleaning took a long time. ■ Improvements: By using a deforming pump, self-priming from the hopper without a pusher became possible. The transfer while degassing in the subsequent molding line reduced the defect rate in molding. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
basic information
【Features of the VQ Type Dual-Axis Screw Pump】 ■ Achieves liquid transfer while degassing ■ High self-priming capability despite being a non-contact pump ■ Achieves -10m ■ Realizes a seal-less function where the shaft seal does not come into contact with the liquid ■ Suitable for liquids that are prone to leakage *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
