The "PTVS1-240C-M" is a high-current bidirectional TVS diode rated for a stand-off voltage of 240V, providing bidirectional port protection. It is designed for use in high-power DC bus applications that require a current surge tolerance of 1kA (8/20μs). Compared to typical low-voltage clamp TVS diodes, it allows for a reduction in component count.
