Since its inception in 1949 at Iwaki Glass Co., Ltd., it has a proud track record of numerous deliveries as piping for various chemical industry sectors requiring corrosion resistance, adhesion resistance, and permeation resistance.

Characteristics of GL® (GLP®) ● There are no pinholes on the glass lining surface. ● The lining surface has very strong mechanical and thermal properties, demonstrating high performance under high temperature, high pressure, and high vacuum conditions. ● The glass lining surface is smooth, which helps to suppress the generation and adhesion of scale and crystals. ● The flange connection sealing surface is polished flat, making it difficult for internal fluids to accumulate at the GL connection. ● The flat flange connection sealing surface allows for minimal installation tolerances and easier construction. Additionally, since it is a fixed flange, flange connections can be made by a small number of people.
