The Ichimura Foundation for New Technology has been selected for the 115th New Technology Development Grant.
Gutenberg Co., Ltd. has been selected for the 115th New Technology Development Grant from the Ichimura Foundation for New Technology with the theme of "Development of Next-Generation Large-Scale, High-Performance Resin 3D Printer Equipment." To commercialize resin-based 3D printers for industrial applications, scaling up and achieving high precision are critical challenges. By introducing AI-based temperature control and lightweight technology for FFF-type printer heads, as well as a unique structure that ensures high stability while accommodating larger sizes, we aim to address these challenges and achieve the domestic production of industrial resin 3D printers in the 500mm class.

The July 1, 2025 (Tuesday) edition of the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun featured the new model 'G-ZERO MP1', which will begin pre-sales in September as a "High-Speed 3D Printer Compatible with PEEK Resin." Adopted by NEDO's "Leading Research Program," collaboration between industry and academia has begun for the development of ultra-lightweight robots made of resin.
Gutenberg Co., Ltd. has had the following research project accepted in the "Leading Research Program" publicly solicited by the National Research and Development Agency, New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). We will work on this project to advance 3D printing technology for resin parts in the rapidly developing robotics industry. Research and Development Topic: Construction of innovative actuators and other technologies that contribute to the utilization of robotics in coexisting environments with humans, including living spaces. Research Theme: Research and development of ultra-lightweight robots made of resin through fused deposition modeling. The 36th Ota Ward Small and Medium Enterprises New Products and New Technologies Competition The flagship model "G-ZERO L1," which started sales in July 2024, received an Excellence Award at the 36th Ota Ward Small and Medium Enterprises New Products and New Technologies Competition. This award system, organized by the Ota Ward Industrial Association, encourages the development of new products and new technologies by small and medium enterprises, aiming to revitalize local industries. Among many product and technology submissions, the G-ZERO was recognized for its upgrade to a larger size, higher performance, and the application of high-functional materials. We aim to deliver the G-ZERO L1 to even more customers and expand the use of FFF-style 3D printing. We sincerely thank the Ota Ward Industrial Promotion Association for organizing this competition.
