A request was received from an automotive parts manufacturer using bundling tools to secure wire harnesses, stating, "We discovered that Insulock ties (bundling bands) were not secured after shipment, so we would like to implement a mistake-proofing system for the bundling tool to prevent forgetting to secure the Insulock ties." This has been realized. 【Details】 - A mistake-proofing transmitter was installed on the bundling tool "Taimate MK9" manufactured by HellermannTyton, which the customer is currently using. - A system was developed that emits a wireless signal when it detects that the excess part of the Insulock tie has been cut after bundling, thus preventing forgetting to secure the bundling tool. - After various prototypes, a method was adopted that does not directly impact the limit switch when the Insulock tie is cut, achieving a durable system. *Please note that the bundling tool "Taimate MK9" has been discontinued.
