[Display Device Example] Waiting Time Display for Tire and Oil Change
A system is built to display waiting times in real-time on a large LED display.
We would like to introduce a case study of custom product development using a production management display device. A request was received from an automotive parts retailer, stating that they wanted to "display the waiting time for tire and oil changes conducted in the PIT prominently at the cash register counter so that customers can understand it." Although a similar device was installed at the customer's store, there were frequent issues with the wireless signal not reaching from the PIT to the cash register counter, resulting in the waiting time not being displayed. [Details] - A wireless controller was installed in the PIT of the automotive parts retailer. - When PIT workers input the waiting time for tire and oil changes, it is displayed in real-time on a large LED display installed at the cash register counter. - By incorporating an antenna into the display, space-saving was achieved, allowing for stable wireless communication from the PIT to the cash register counter. - We conducted design and development utilizing our long-established high-quality wireless technology to meet the customer's request. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
