[Pokayoke Example] Using TAT stamps to prevent omissions in manufacturing tasks.
Preventing omissions in marking work! Implementing a system to count the number of TAT stamp impressions.
The automobile manufacturer has requested to establish a system in a mixed production line that produces multiple products, where operators can determine that "special parts should only be installed when there is a mark on the engine's metal parts (piston)." Furthermore, they would like to prevent the oversight of installing special parts (Poka-Yoke) by cross-referencing the "number of impressions" and the "number of special parts dispensed." The customer has requested the use of a "TAT stamp" that can mark metal parts, and we have implemented a system to count the number of impressions made with the TAT stamp. 【Mechanical Design】 (1) It does not compromise workability. (2) It allows for easy attachment and replacement of a Poka-Yoke transmitter to the TAT stamp without the need for fixing with hardware or screws. (3) The cap of the TAT stamp can be utilized. This system can be expanded not only to the TAT stamp but also to thick pens and other stamps, and it is expected to help prevent "oversights in manufacturing operations due to marking" and "oversights in marking operations" in more manufacturing sites. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
