Prevention of forgetting to inject wax (rust inhibitor) from spray cans.
We received a request from an automobile manufacturer stating, "We would like to implement a mistake-proofing system to prevent forgetting to inject wax (rust inhibitor) using spray cans during the vehicle body assembly process." By attaching a commercially available spray handle (a gun-like tool that sprays when the handle is squeezed) to the spray can used by the customer for injecting wax (rust inhibitor), and combining the spray handle with our mistake-proofing transmitter, we have established a system that counts when the spray handle is squeezed. [Mechanical Design] (1) It can be attached without modifying the spray handle itself.
