DEC's PTS is a suction-type powder transport device that utilizes a vacuum pump. The device is compact due to the use of a flat-type filter. Since there are no electrical components in the device, explosion-proof measures are unnecessary. Compared to other transport devices such as pressure-fed systems, it minimizes friction on the powder during transport and greatly reduces the generation of static electricity. Depending on the combination with other devices, it can also accommodate containment.
