To produce 1 kilogram of coffee, 20 kilograms of CO2 are required. However, only 1% of the coffee beans are used in production, while 99% is discarded. Cafe Bueno has achieved zero waste by using this residue as a cosmetic ingredient. KAFFEAGE is a powdered extract product that has powdered the water-soluble active ingredients contained in coffee residue. It contains polyphenols and melanoidins.
