High-speed, high-precision image inspection equipment [Measurement System Development Case]
Synchronize with a high-resolution camera and strobe to inspect the ink ejection state!
We would like to introduce a case where we delivered an ink droplet image inspection device to an inkjet printer development manufacturer. They requested to investigate the ejection speed, spacing, curvature, and ink volume of the ink droplets ejected from the ink head. We proposed to synchronize a high-resolution camera and a strobe light with the ink head ejection, capturing data from the camera images to a PC for image processing, allowing us to inspect the ejection state of the ink. We requested a cooperating manufacturer to produce the inspection stage, fixtures, and electrical components, while using commercially available cameras and strobes. We designed the circuit board for ink head ejection, developed the FPGA design, and created the application for the PC, which we then delivered.
