Are you still evaluating the conventional color gamut? APHRODI / Aphrodi display color gamut evaluation system (Gamut Rings evaluation) GR-55
This time, we are pleased to announce a free web seminar conducted by a former Sony engineer. Are you still evaluating color gamut using traditional methods? Introduction to the web seminar on the new product display color gamut evaluation system, GR-55. - Free evaluation software available for loan (first come, first served for one company) The Gamut Rings method, proposed by Dr. Masaoka from NHK, has been put into practical use as a means to measure the color reproduction range of displays. This is a completely new and groundbreaking technique that visualizes a three-dimensional color gamut, including brightness that could not be expressed conventionally, in two dimensions. It has been standardized internationally by organizations such as IEC, ICDM, and CIE. In this presentation, we will explain the basic principles of the Gamut Rings method and the GR-55 product, as well as introduce the immediate conversion to the xy chromaticity diagram, xyY color space, and L*a*b* color space that have been used traditionally. This technology allows for accurate, easy, and understandable color evaluation of displays, and will serve as a tool for everyone involved in the design and development of displays and materials in the future. This seminar is packed with valuable information.

Here we are, Introduction Seminar for MTF Measurement Devices for Next-Generation Displays
What is the latest display MTF measurement device (DT-8031) that can measure everything from the selection of decorative films to the resolution of aerial images? Recently, a method called line-based measurement has been proposed and put into practical use by Dr. Masaoka from the NHK Foundation as a means to measure display resolution (MTF). It has been found that this method demonstrates the highest performance in both measurement accuracy and measurement time at this point in time. It is currently under discussion as an MTF measurement method by the international organization IEC62977-3-6 and is steadily progressing towards standardization. In this seminar, we will introduce variations of accurate MTF measurement, incorporating measurement examples of decorative film evaluation and aerial image measurement using the DT-8031 equipped with the line-based method, focusing on subjects that have been difficult to measure until now.

Introduction seminar for the next-generation energy-saving system "Ai-Glies," specialized in air conditioning and addressing decarbonization.
This system efficiently reduces electricity consumption and lowers electricity costs and CO2 emissions by precisely controlling "air conditioning," which accounts for a significant portion of power consumption in factories and office buildings. Ai-Glies adopts a wireless connection and solar power supply method, which helps to reduce installation costs and time. This seminar will provide an overview of the Ai-Glies power reduction principles, case studies, and a clear understanding of the expected effects of implementation and the process leading up to it. We also have a chat-style Q&A session, so if you are interested in decarbonization, reducing electricity costs, or visualizing power consumption, please join us.
