For measuring inductance of components such as transformers and coils In the evaluation of the impedance characteristics of inductive components like transformers and coils, inductance measurements with superimposed bias current are conducted to understand the dependence on direct current. By using Keysight Technologies' LCR meter and inserting an external bias current circuit between the inductive component and the LCR meter, the direct current characteristics can be measured with high precision.
