Igus (headquartered in Germany) has developed a drylin T miniature guide carriage using the new material iglidur E3 for the sliding part. This sliding part, which excels in friction and wear characteristics, has improved the friction coefficient by 40%, and the design standard's 2:1 rule has been expanded to 3:1, achieving an increase in design flexibility for linear guides. It is available in three sizes (widths of 20mm, 27mm, and 32mm) and can be used in applications ranging from pharmaceutical research equipment to jig manufacturing.
