The "Manus Award," hosted by igus (headquartered in Germany), a motion plastics company, is a contest that honors innovative applications using igus's plastic bearings. In the 10th edition of the Manus Award in 2021, in addition to the gold, silver, and bronze awards, a new Green Manus Award was established to recognize sustainable applications. This time, 582 entries from 41 countries were submitted, and four innovative cases were selected by judges representing the industrial sector, the economic community, and research institutions.
