Igus has developed two new materials, "Solar Mid G" and "Iglidur P UV," for pillow block bearings used in tracking solar power generation systems. These new polymers exhibit excellent durability even in environments exposed to sunlight for extended periods, with tests under actual conditions confirming approximately three times the UV resistance. By using this product with superior UV resistance, maintenance work can be significantly reduced.
