It can be used without lubrication and is ideal for various positioning and adjustment mechanisms. The stroke length can be specified freely. Due to its lightweight design using polymers and aluminum, it has low mass inertia and is very efficient. It can be used as a standalone unit or combined as a gantry, accommodating narrow spaces and high torque. The base igus linear guide moves with resin sliding, so no oil or grease is required at all. This makes it resistant to dust and allows for hygienic use.
