[Case Study of COVID-19 Ventilation Measures] K's Cinema Shinjuku - Visualization of Ventilation
When the threshold is exceeded, email notifications and alert lights will be triggered, enabling efficient ventilation measures within the theater and helping to prevent sealing!
We would like to introduce the case study of the "Indoor Environment Monitoring Set" (high-performance CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity measurement sensors, gateway, and warning light) that has been implemented at Shinjuku K's Cinema (Location: Shinjuku, Tokyo). <Purpose of Implementation> To visualize the air and environmental conditions within the facility and to implement appropriate ventilation measures and prevent sealing. <Before Implementation> We had been taking ventilation measures such as limiting the number of visitors, using the air conditioning system, and bringing in outside air, but we felt the difficulty of responding to sealing prevention measures since they could not be visually confirmed. <After Implementation> Measurement units (sub-units) equipped with CO2 concentration and temperature and humidity sensors were placed in five locations where people are likely to gather, and the main unit was installed in the management room. The measurement data is sent to the cloud via the main unit, allowing for real-time monitoring on PCs and smartphones. In the event that the set threshold is exceeded, notifications via email and warning lights enable the implementation of appropriate ventilation measures, establishing a system for environmental management aimed at ensuring customer safety and security. <Implementation Effects> ■ Visualization of indoor environment (CO2 concentration, temperature, and humidity) ■ Efficient and accurate implementation of ventilation measures ■ Infection prevention through sealing prevention measures ■ Providing safety and security to customers
basic information
■Indoor Environment (CO2 Concentration + Temperature and Humidity) Monitoring Set The configuration consists of a main unit + sub-units (with sensors included). Up to 32 sub-units can be connected. - Main Unit (WD100-S32/N32) Data Collection Communication Control Server - Sub Unit (WD100-THC) Temperature and Humidity/CO2 Measurement Unit (with sensor included) [Configuration Image] Install the sub-units in locations where CO2 concentration and temperature and humidity need to be measured, and place the main unit in the office or management room. The main unit collects measurement data from each sub-unit. Since CO2 concentration and temperature and humidity data can be monitored remotely in bulk, measures for improving the indoor environment can be initiated immediately. By setting appropriate thresholds for avoiding crowded spaces and ensuring a comfortable environment, the timing for effective and efficient ventilation can be accurately grasped.

Case Study: Miura City Hall, Kanagawa Prefecture - Introduction of "Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer Monitoring Solution" to Prevent Vaccine Waste ★ Monitoring of Freezer Temperature & Power Supply + Power Backup System (Note 1)
Utilizing the "Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer Monitoring Solution," a system that automatically monitors temperature and power abnormalities in freezers for storing COVID-19 vaccines, the Miura City Hall is implementing measures to prevent vaccine disposal. This initiative, which involves the introduction of a system that monitors both temperature and power, is one of the few of its kind in the country. <Purpose of Implementation> To monitor temperature and power abnormalities in freezers and ultra-low temperature freezers (deep freezers) storing COVID-19 vaccines, in order to prevent vaccine disposal accidents caused by power outages, equipment malfunctions, and human errors. <Results of Implementation> The system operated during power outages, allowing vaccines to be stored without compromising quality. Additionally, the vaccine storage environment (internal temperature and power abnormalities) can now be checked from smartphones and PCs, leading to reduced work hours for staff and improved operational efficiency. <Freezers monitored by the system at Miura City Hall> - One unit from Japan Freezer Co., Ltd. - One unit from PHC Corporation *For details about the system, please refer to the product PDF. *For more information, visit our company website or the Ipros introduction page. <Note 1> With a 270W freezer, the standard configuration provides 2 hours and 45 minutes of backup. In the maximum configuration (with two additional battery units), it can provide 5 hours and 5 minutes of backup.

The definitive carbon dioxide concentration meter necessary for ventilation measures! A three-color light warning in stages - "Miharukun PRO" released on January 21, 2022.
ISAI Corporation has developed a high-function version of a carbon dioxide concentration measuring device, the "Indoor Environment Measurement Monitoring Device Miru-kun PRO <WD100-ENV-LCD>", which contributes to infection control and productivity improvement, and will begin sales on January 21, 2022. This product displays the measured values of indoor temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration on a large LCD screen, while visualizing the environmental conditions with three colors of light according to the levels. It notifies users via email or alerts when ventilation is needed. Data is sent to a higher level using LoRa, a representative wireless communication method of LPWA, for visualization and analysis. A compact version model without an LCD <WD100-ENV> will also be released simultaneously. Both models allow for quick startup from installation, enabling measurement, monitoring, and countermeasures to begin in a short period. When combined with an additional contact input/output unit, it is also possible to coordinate and control ventilation systems. Up to 32 child units can be connected to one main unit, and the communication between the measuring unit and the main unit uses LoRa wireless communication, covering areas and obstacles that Wi-Fi or Bluetooth cannot reach. It is also ideal for environmental monitoring in large factories and facilities.
