[Processing Examples of Difficult-to-Cut Materials] Fine Thread Assembly Processing

Production of the Inbar (FN-36) lens barrel frame! Introducing an example of the M31×0.5 matching process.

We would like to introduce a case of "fine thread assembly processing" conducted at Aitec Co., Ltd. This case was produced using Invar material (FN-36). The processing involved the use of a core jig and careful adjustments of clamping force to prevent deformation of the product during manufacturing. Since the male thread serves as the reference for alignment, we devised the cutting tools and processing paths to ensure that no burrs would form at the tip, allowing the female thread to fit smoothly. 【Case Overview】 ■Material: Invar material (FN-36) ■Processing Details: M31X0.5 alignment processing *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Our company develops two main businesses: the "Equipment Business," which handles everything from the design and manufacturing of specialized machines and equipment to installation and adjustment, and the "Parts Processing Business," which is responsible for the machining and production of mechanical components. The Equipment Business has a proven track record of designing and manufacturing equipment for various industries, including automotive, semiconductor, and pharmaceuticals. In recent years, we began operating a clean room (U.S. Federal Standard Class 100 and Class 1000) starting in May 2020. In the Parts Processing Business, we have a variety of processing equipment in-house and a network of over 200 partner factories, allowing us to produce a wide range of processed products. We can also handle procurement for items such as heat treatment, surface treatment, and units.
