PUSHLOG: Equipment Operation Monitoring System for Pharmaceuticals
Supporting validation in the pharmaceutical industry. IoT implementation in just 10 minutes.
In the pharmaceutical industry, strict management and recording of the manufacturing process are essential for product quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Particularly in validation, accurate understanding of equipment operation status and manufacturing parameters, along with the reliability of those records, is required. Inadequate recording or management can lead to validation deficiencies, posing risks such as product shipment halts or revalidation. The equipment operation monitoring system PUSHLOG can be retrofitted to existing equipment to address these challenges and easily achieve IoT integration. 【Usage Scenarios】 - Real-time monitoring of manufacturing line operation status - Automatic recording of manufacturing equipment operation data - Quick response through push notifications in case of abnormalities - Report generation through data extraction in CSV format 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Reliable acquisition of operational data necessary for validation - Early detection of abnormalities through process visualization - Reduction of recording errors due to manual entry - Strengthening of compliance adherence

Applications/Examples of results
Visualization and IoT Implementation of Equipment in the Factory 1. Temperature Monitoring of Dryers (Acquired Data: Operating Status, Temperature) Connect temperature sensors (thermocouples) to Mitsubishi Electric PLC Q series. Due to temperature variations in the dryer, temperatures at three points (upper, middle, lower) are measured. Since reaching the target temperature within a specified time is crucial for quality, data collection is conducted to monitor temperature and time to reach the target. As the operators are not always present, they can remotely monitor the drying status. If there is an anomaly in the reaching time, they can immediately go to the site for a status check after being notified by email. 2. Measurement Results from Inspection Equipment (Acquired Data: Measurement Values) By retrofitting equipment controlled by PLCs, measurement data can be saved. In the event of defective products (NG), it is also possible to notify anomalies via email. This leads to early countermeasures for the occurrence of NG. 3. Monitoring the Operating Status of Pump Motors (Acquired Data: Motor Current and Load Rate) By remotely monitoring motors that require regular inspections, maintenance can be performed at the appropriate timing. Reducing the effort of regular inspections enables overall cost reduction.
