Equipment Operation Monitoring System for Semiconductors - PUSHLOG

Improving semiconductor manufacturing yield through IoT in just 10 minutes.

In the semiconductor manufacturing industry, stable operation of equipment and early detection of anomalies are essential to maintain product quality and production efficiency. Particularly in semiconductor manufacturing, which requires fine processes, even slight variations in equipment can significantly impact yield. Real-time monitoring of equipment operation and prompt response to anomalies are key to improving yield. The equipment operation monitoring system PUSHLOG can be retrofitted to existing equipment to address these challenges and achieve IoT integration. 【Use Cases】 - Real-time monitoring of semiconductor manufacturing equipment operation - Immediate notifications during anomalies for rapid response - Visualization of the operational status of the entire production line - Promotion of improvement activities based on data 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Increased yield - Improved production efficiency - Reduced downtime - Stabilization of quality

Applications/Examples of results

Visualization and IoT Implementation of Factory Equipment 1. Temperature Monitoring of Dryers (Data Collected: Operating Status, Temperature) Connect temperature sensors (thermocouples) to Mitsubishi Electric's Q series PLC. Due to temperature variations in the dryer, temperatures at three points (upper, middle, and lower) are measured. Since reaching the target temperature within a specified time is crucial for quality, data is collected to monitor temperature and time to reach the target. As operators are not always present, they can remotely monitor the drying conditions. If there is an anomaly in the reaching time, they can be alerted via email and promptly check the situation on-site. 2. Measurement Results from Inspection Equipment (Data Collected: Measurement Values) By retrofitting equipment controlled by a PLC, measurement data can be saved. In the event of defective products, anomalies can be notified via email, leading to early countermeasures for defects. 3. Monitoring the Operating Status of Pump Motors (Data Collected: Motor Current and Load Rate) By remotely monitoring motors that require regular inspections, maintenance can be performed at the appropriate time. Reducing the effort of regular inspections can lead to overall cost reductions.
