Equipment Operation Monitoring System PUSHLOG for the Textile Industry
Reduce defect rates in the textile industry with IoT in just 10 minutes!
In the textile industry, it is essential to suppress the occurrence of defective products on the production line and stabilize quality. In particular, being able to grasp the operational status of manufacturing equipment and subtle changes in the production process in real-time is crucial for identifying the causes of defects and implementing countermeasures. However, the IoT integration of existing equipment requires specialized knowledge and program development, which presents a high barrier to implementation. The equipment operation monitoring system PUSHLOG addresses these challenges and contributes to reducing the defect rate in the textile industry. 【Usage Scenarios】 - Real-time monitoring of equipment operation status on the production line - Rapid detection and notification of abnormalities - Identification of defect causes through analysis of past data - Improvement of production processes based on operational data 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Early detection and reduction of defects - Improvement of production efficiency - Stabilization of quality - Promotion of objective improvement activities based on data

Applications/Examples of results
Visualization and IoT Implementation of Equipment in the Factory 1. Monitoring the Temperature of the Dryer (Data Collected: Operating Status, Temperature) Connect a temperature sensor (thermocouple) to the Mitsubishi Electric PLC Q series. Due to variations in the temperature of the dryer, temperatures are measured at three points: upper, middle, and lower sections. Since reaching the target temperature within a specified time is crucial for quality, data is collected to monitor temperature and time to reach the target. As operators are not always present, they can remotely monitor the drying conditions. If there is an anomaly in the reaching time, they can be alerted via email and promptly check the situation on-site. 2. Measurement Results from Inspection Equipment (Data Collected: Measurement Values) By retrofitting equipment controlled by the PLC, measurement data can be saved. In the event of defective products, it is also possible to notify anomalies via email. This leads to early countermeasures for the occurrence of defects. 3. Monitoring the Operating Status of Pump Motors (Data Collected: Motor Current and Load Rate) By remotely monitoring motors that require regular inspections, maintenance can be performed at the appropriate timing. Reducing the effort of regular inspections allows for overall cost reduction.
