Iwasaki Electric has developed a light source unit that meets the DIN 75220/MIL-810G(H) standards using its own light source and custom-designed optical filters. This unit is available as an optional light source for the EYE 4D MULTI Chamber. ■ What is EYE 4D MULTI Chamber®? It is a testing machine based on the concept of conducting comprehensive evaluation tests on three-dimensional objects, such as finished products, rather than evaluating individual materials in plate form. ■ DIN 75220/MIL-810G(H) DIN 75220 is a weather resistance testing standard for automobiles and related components that is widely adopted in Europe. It includes complex cycles simulating high humidity/dry conditions and day/night scenarios, and it has strict regulations for irradiation across a wide spectrum of 280nm to 3000nm, making it one of the standards with few compatible testing machines. MIL-810G(H) is a procurement standard established by the U.S. Department of Defense, which also adopts similar regulations for irradiation as DIN 75220.
