It has over 30 years of manufacturing history since 1989 and is widely used as a food preservative, being a polyamino acid preservative. Polylysine is a natural food preservative produced through fermentation. Due to its high safety, we have received numerous requests to use it for various antibacterial applications. In response to customer feedback, we have started selling it as a reagent. Reagents can be purchased from Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Corporation. For example, it is expected to reduce synthetic polymers in everyday products closely related to daily life, such as wet wipes, toothpaste, shampoo, and scalp care.
