Data: Two-step purification of monoclonal antibodies using Cellufine.
Case study of mAb purification using Protein A resin (Cellufine SPA-HC) and mixed-mode resin (Cellufine MAX IB).
"Cellufine" is a chromatography resin that has various ligands (functional groups) modified on the surface of spherical porous cellulose particles. It is used in the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals such as antibody drugs, vaccines, and protein formulations. This document reports a method to achieve high-purity purification of monoclonal antibodies through a two-step purification process using the Protein A resin Cellufine SPA-HC for the capture step and Cellufine MAX IB for the polishing step. Since it allows for high-purity purification in two steps, it can streamline the process and reduce lead times. We encourage you to read it.
