"Polylysine" | A natural cationic polymer fermented by natural microorganisms.
Amino acid-derived natural cationic polymer that can be used in food preservatives, hygiene materials, and daily necessities. It is a safe material as it is a fermentation product produced by natural microorganisms.
ε-Polylysine (hereafter referred to as Polylysine) is a homopolymer consisting of 25 to 35 linked ε-amino groups of L-lysine, an essential amino acid for humans, and α-carboxyl groups through amide bonds. With over 30 years of manufacturing experience, it is an amino acid-derived preservative widely used as a food preservative, making it applicable in sanitary materials and more. For example, it is expected to reduce synthetic polymers in everyday items closely related to daily life, such as wet wipes, toothpaste, shampoo, and scalp care products. Even in the presence of chelating agents used as antioxidants in cosmetics, various detergents, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, it exhibits excellent antibacterial properties. Additionally, it is utilized in preventing bacterial contamination during the manufacturing process of food raw materials, removing anionic substances by leveraging the characteristics of cationic polymers, and in applications for electronic materials and semiconductor manufacturing. 【Features】 ■ A safe material produced through fermentation by natural microorganisms (not genetically modified organisms) ■ Provides a positive image as a natural fermentation product ■ Listed in the existing additive inventory as a food preservative ■ Can be used as an additive in cosmetics, sanitary materials, and daily necessities ■ A safe domestic product ■ A natural cationic polymer

Introduction of the preservative polylysine / fermented polyamino acids that contribute to food poisoning prevention.
We provide easy-to-understand materials explaining the natural preservative polylysine, which prevents food poisoning. ε-Polylysine (hereafter referred to as polylysine) is an amino acid-derived preservative widely used as a food preservative. By adding polylysine, the growth of microorganisms that cause food poisoning can be prevented. Every year, food poisoning caused by microorganisms is a significant issue and is frequently reported in the news. Even foods that do not appear to be spoiled can rapidly proliferate microorganisms if the growth environment is suitable, so caution is necessary. Even if something looks clean, contamination by bacteria can progress, posing a risk of food poisoning. By ensuring hygiene management during the manufacturing process, proper storage at appropriate temperatures, and the appropriate use of the preservative polylysine, food safety can be more effectively protected. 【Features】 ■ A safe material produced through fermentation by natural microorganisms (not genetically modified organisms) ■ Provides a good image as a natural fermented product ■ Listed in the existing additive registry as a food preservative ■ A safe domestic product *Please feel free to contact us.

Start of Reagent Sales: We will begin selling Polylysine reagents.
ε-Polylysine (hereinafter referred to as Polylysine) is a substance officially known as ε-poly-L-lysine. It has over 30 years of manufacturing history since 1989 and is widely used as a food preservative, being a polyamino acid preservative. Polylysine is a natural food preservative produced through fermentation. Due to its high safety, we have received numerous requests to use it for various antibacterial applications. In response to customer feedback, we have started selling it as a reagent. Reagents can be purchased from Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Corporation. For example, it is expected to reduce synthetic polymers in everyday products closely related to daily life, such as wet wipes, toothpaste, shampoo, and scalp care.
