Cellufine phosphate / purification of RNA polymerase

It is an affinity chromatography resin that efficiently purifies the important T7 RNA polymerase used in the synthesis of mRNA drugs.

Cellufine Phosphate is an affinity chromatography resin that has an affinity for nucleic acid-binding proteins. T7 RNA polymerase can be efficiently purified using Cellufine Phosphate due to its nature as a nucleic acid-binding protein. T7 RNA polymerase is an RNA synthesis enzyme used to produce mRNA from DNA templates. In the manufacturing process of mRNA vaccines, which became famous as a vaccine for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), T7 RNA polymerase is used as the enzyme for mRNA synthesis. T7 RNA polymerase can be purified to high purity through a two-step purification process using Cellufine Phosphate and Cellufine MAX DEAE (a weak anion exchange support). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information

**Features** - Base carrier: spherical cellulose particles - Ligand: phosphate ester group - Ligand concentration: 0.3 - 0.8 meq/ml - Protein adsorption capacity: ≧ 20 mg/ml-gel (lysozyme) It has affinity adsorption for nucleic acid-binding proteins such as RNA polymerase. Since the phosphate group is negatively charged, it does not adsorb negatively charged impurities such as endotoxins. For stationary cleaning, 0.2M sodium hydroxide can be used. Therefore, it can be reused multiple times. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
