Polylisine | Introduction to High Purity Polylisine Powder

High-purity polylysine powder is a powder that contains polylysine in high purity. It is a pure form of polylysine that does not contain water or dextrin and can be used for industrial applications.

ε-Polylysine (hereinafter referred to as polylysine) is a homopolymer consisting of 25 to 35 units of the ε-amino group of L-lysine, an essential amino acid for humans, and the α-carboxyl group linked by amide bonds. High-purity polylysine powder is a powdered product that contains polylysine in high purity. The current product, a 25% solution, contains 75% water, while the 50% powder contains 50% dextrin. In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for pure polylysine that does not contain water or dextrin for purposes other than food additives, and we have developed this product to meet that demand. Polylysine is utilized in various industries. For example, it is used to prevent bacterial contamination during the manufacturing process of food raw materials, to remove anionic substances by leveraging the characteristics of cationic polymers, and in applications for electronic materials and semiconductor manufacturing. 【Features】 ■ It cannot be used as a food additive. High-purity polylysine powder is not subject to food additive designation. Therefore, this introduction is limited to uses other than as a food additive. ■ Are the functions and properties different from current products? It is the same polylysine as a chemical substance. ■ This is an introduction to a developed product. If you would like a sample, please contact us.
