◆Rust Prevention Results of NMR Pipe Protector at the London City Hall Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, red water was coming from the hot water pipes at Guildhall, London, every morning when use began. Water quality testing showed an iron content of 6.36 mg/l, which is significantly higher than the UK water quality standard of 0.2 mg/l, indicating severe rusting. After installing the NMR Pipe Protector and measuring the iron content three weeks later, it was reduced to 0.015 mg/l. Furthermore, after measuring seven weeks post-installation, it decreased to 0.007 mg/l, indicating that the red rust had transformed into black rust, which does not dissolve in water. The red water issue was resolved, and the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector eliminated the red rust problem in the hot water pipes at Guildhall, London. As a result, a letter of recommendation was issued in the names of the Head of the Real Estate Management Division of the London City Hall Investigation Project Department and the Head of the Technical Services Division of the London City Hall. The installation of the NMR Pipe Protector in the hot water supply pipes of the west wing of the London City Hall noted: • A 99% reduction in red rust compared to before installation • Confirmation of rust prevention effects within four weeks post-installation • Complete disappearance of the previously constant red water and improvement in water quality These points confirm and recommend the rust prevention effectiveness of the NMR Pipe Protector.
