Addressing overseas water quality issues: Rust prevention effects of the NMR Pipe Protector - NMRPT - at Legend Hotel Saigon.

In 2007, at the Legend Hotel Saigon in Vietnam, due to the water quality issues that facilitate red rust corrosion, significant red rust corrosion had progressed within six years of construction. This resulted in serious red water issues in all guest rooms, making it impossible for guests to even take a shower. Taisei Corporation, responsible for the construction, found that responding to the hotel's request for pipe replacement would require enormous costs and compensation for the hotel's closure, making it unfeasible. Since they had already understood the rust prevention effects of the NMR Pipe Protector from another project, its adoption was decided. Installation from outside the pipes meant there was no water outage, allowing the hotel to continue operations without the need for closure compensation. In 2008, the NMR Pipe Protector was installed, and about a month and a half later, water quality tests were conducted in ten guest rooms that had experienced severe red water issues. The results showed that red rust had been eliminated in all rooms, improving the water to a clear state. Thus, the adoption of the NMR Pipe Protector by a major general contractor in this complaint handling case can be seen as a testament to their high evaluation of its rust prevention effectiveness.
