This time, we will introduce the effectiveness of the NMR Pipe Protector in reducing plastic waste, which is a cause of marine pollution. A large amount of plastic waste flows into the ocean, causing problems as a source of marine pollution. One of the reasons for this is that in developing countries, due to issues with the quality of tap water, there is a high usage of bottled drinking water, leading to a significant number of discarded plastic bottles. The decline in tap water quality is due to the chlorine used for sterilization to suppress bacteria in the pipes being depleted by red rust corrosion. As a result, the proliferation of bacteria prevents the maintenance of water quality suitable for daily life. However, improvements through pipe replacement are prohibitively expensive and cannot be implemented. The NMR Pipe Protector significantly reduces costs to less than 1/20 of pipe replacement, making long-term extension of the pipes possible. In the Phong Kan area of Binh Phuoc Province, Vietnam, there is already a direct example of improvement in marine pollution. In this area, due to issues with the water quality from the distribution pipes, the introduction of the NMR Pipe Protector has successfully improved the water quality to a level suitable for drinking. By improving the quality of tap water, the use of plastic bottles can be significantly reduced, leading to a solution for the marine pollution problem.
