Kansai Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Company started its business in April 2020 as a general transmission and distribution operator spun off from Kansai Electric Power Company due to the amendment of the Electricity Business Act. Leveraging the strengths cultivated in the transmission and distribution business, we are boldly challenging new businesses and international ventures, aiming for growth across the entire group alongside our subsidiaries. We are committed to evolving into an "energy platformer" that provides new value to customers and society, not limited to electricity transmission services. Since 1954, our Technical Testing Center has accumulated various insights and know-how through quality assurance, performance testing, and defect investigation of products, and is equipped with specialized testing, analysis, and inspection devices. With the intention of widely returning these technological assets to society, we are developing a business that conducts contract testing and defect investigations for a wide range of customers, including companies and universities.
