For molecular epidemiology analysis! "Chikajenius POT Kit Series"
Rapid and simple identification of strains, for hospital infection control! A PCR kit that allows for easy molecular epidemiological analysis in about 4 hours.
The PCR-based ORF Typing (POT method) developed by Dr. Masahiro Suzuki at Fujita Medical University is a method for comparing the homology between bacterial strains by simultaneously amplifying multiple specific genes using multiplex PCR and analyzing the amplified band patterns. Features: - All necessary reagents are included in the PCR kit. - Molecular epidemiological analysis can be completed in about 4 hours. - Comparable analytical capability to PFGE, MLST, etc. - The analysis results are quantified (POT value), making it easy to compare and manage the homology between bacterial strains.
