KEL Corporation will newly release the high-stack type of the 0.5mm pitch floating connector "DT Series" compatible with high-speed transmission. A floating connector is one that is equipped with a mechanism (floating mechanism) that absorbs vertical and horizontal errors that occur when mounting the connector on a circuit board. By allowing the connector to move, it can absorb errors and misalignments during mating, thereby reducing stress on the connector and the circuit board. It offers advantages such as absorbing mounting tolerances on the circuit board, enabling multiple installations on the same board, and reducing stress on the connector soldering area. The newly released "DT Series" high-stack type is available in four heights of 17, 18, 19, and 20mm in response to market demands for stack connections.
