Announcement of the development of the "DT Series" floating connector compatible with high-speed transmission, 25mm stack height type.
We have developed a new type of the "DT Series" high-speed transmission compatible 0.5mm pitch floating connector with a stack height of 25mm. This time, we developed a plug-side connector with a stack height of 15mm and combined it with a receptacle-side connector that has a 10mm increased stack height, achieving a total stack height of 25mm. Similar to the 30mm stack height version, it ensures a high floating amount of ±1.0mm in the XY direction, enabling high-speed serial transmission equivalent to 8Gbps. We will develop seven variations with pin counts ranging from 30 to 140 pins. Additionally, by combining it with the existing DT series receptacle side, it can accommodate the 15mm stack height version. *The 15mm type supports a floating amount of ±0.5mm.

We have developed a 30mm stack height type of the high-speed transmission compatible 0.5mm pitch floating connector "DT Series." Previously, the stack height of the DT Series was adjusted on the plug side, but this time we have developed a type that raises the stack height on the receptacle side by 10mm. By combining it with the 20mm stack height type on the plug side, we achieve a stack height of 30mm. As a feature of the 10mm raised stack height type, the floating amount (movable amount) has been increased to ±1.0mm, which is double the ±0.5mm of the conventional products in the XY direction. While the floating amount has increased, the board footprint has been reduced by 8% compared to conventional products. It also supports high-speed transmission, enabling high-speed serial transmission equivalent to 8Gbps. The stack height variations can accommodate eight different stack heights ranging from 18mm to 30mm by fitting with the existing plug side. There are seven types of pin counts available, ranging from 30 pins to 140 pins.
