Since 2020, the regional expansion of the J-Startup program has begun, and for Kyushu, a collaborative platform involving three government agencies, seven prefectures, three designated cities, and ten related organizations was established in December 2021 to launch the "J-Startup KYUSHU" initiative. In March 2022, 33 companies based in Kyushu were selected as J-Startup KYUSHU companies, and in April 2023, 15 companies were selected.
