Contec joins the NVIDIA Partner Network to strengthen collaboration in the edge AI business.
Contec Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has joined NVIDIA's partner program, the "NVIDIA Partner Network (hereinafter referred to as NPN)," and has become the first company in Japan to be recognized as a "NVIDIA Jetson(TM) Ecosystem Member," focusing primarily on hardware products. Since February 2021, Contec has been selling the DX-U1000/U2000 series, which is equipped with the NVIDIA Jetson(TM) module, as industrial edge AI computers. By becoming a member of the NPN and the NVIDIA Jetson ecosystem, which includes over 170 companies, we aim to further expand business opportunities through strengthened collaboration.

Contec's industrial IoT solution "CONPROSYS(R)" has been adopted for AGC's raw material automatic management system, contributing to the digital transformation of procurement operations.
The industrial IoT solution "CONPROSYS(R)" provided by Contec Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Stock Exchange Second Section, Securities Code 6639) has been adopted by AGC Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section, Securities Code 5201, hereinafter referred to as AGC) for its automatic management system for raw materials, the "Smart Inventory System," which was developed by AGC. Since April of this year, AGC has been fully implementing the "Smart Inventory System" at its Kansai plant, advancing digital transformation (DX) in procurement operations such as planning and ordering, and expects to reduce working hours by 1,000 hours annually, along with the transmission of skills to workers. The "Smart Inventory System" is also being considered for deployment to other plants, primarily focusing on domestic glass factories.
