Contec has developed the compact business computer "GPC-710 Series" (hereinafter referred to as the new product), equipped with an Intel® Core™ i5 processor and certified to safety standards worldwide, and has started accepting orders from July 23, 2025. The new product features a small form factor while incorporating the 10th generation (Comet Lake) Intel® Core™ i5 processor. It maintains almost the same external dimensions as the previous model, the "GPC-700 Series," while inheriting functional aspects such as the ability to install one Low Profile PCI Express board, achieving approximately double the processing speed compared to the previous model. Contec has started providing the download of firmware (JetPack 6.2.0 installation image file) that supports Super Mode for the industrial edge AI computer DX-U2100 series equipped with NVIDIA(R) Jetson Orin Nano(TM) from July 17, 2025. Contec has developed a successor to its expansion slot expansion box for PCs. Orders will begin on June 26, 2025, for the "ECH-PE-DE2-H2B," "ECH-PCI-DE2-H2B," and "ECH-PCI-DE2-H4B." This product is an expansion chassis designed to increase the expansion slots of the main PC and is the successor to the "ECH-PE-DE-H2B," "ECH-PCI-DE-H2B," and "ECH-PCI-DE-H4B." By connecting a separately sold expansion adapter (EAD-DE-LPE), it is possible to add PCI Express (x1) bus slots or PCI bus slots. The power input voltage is 12 to 24 VDC, but by using a separately sold switching AC adapter (PWA-160AWD2), it can also be used with a 100 to 240 VAC power input.
