The thin box computer (R) "BX-T210 series" with a thickness of approximately 30mm complies with the CCC standard (China Compulsory Certification System).
Contec has added four models of its fanless embedded PC "Box Computer® BX-T210 Series (hereinafter referred to as the new product)" that achieves a thickness of approximately 30mm and the size of A5 paper, compliant with CCC certification (China Compulsory Certification). Sales will begin in August 2022. The new product is an embedded computer equipped with a high-performance quad-core CPU, achieving a thin and compact size of approximately 30mm thick and the size of A5 paper, with an operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C. With the addition of these four newly released models to the three currently on sale, a total of seven models will be CCC certified. When exporting the PC alone, it was not possible to import it without CCC certification during local customs clearance. The new product not only facilitates smooth import customs clearance in China but also complies with various safety standards in different countries and regions, such as BSMI (Taiwan), CE (EU), FCC (USA), KC (Korea), UKCA (UK), UL/c-UL (USA/Canada), and VCCI (Japan), thereby contributing to the global expansion of customers' devices and equipment.

New release of the fanless embedded PC "Box Computer® BX-M210 Series" that balances space-saving and expandability.
Contec has developed a fanless embedded PC that balances space-saving and expandability, and has started accepting orders for it as the "Box Computer® BX-M210" from May 24, 2022. The BX-M210 series is a Windows-compatible fanless embedded PC equipped with a power-efficient quad-core Intel Atom® x5-E3940 processor. It achieves space-saving with a size comparable to A5 paper while incorporating functions that were previously realized through the addition of peripheral devices such as expansion boards. The internal structure is divided into two layers, with the upper half consolidating the basic functions of an industrial computer and the lower half reserved for functional expansion. It features the "M.2" standard for expansion cards, allowing for various functional enhancements. There are two models: the "GPIO model," which adds 32 points of opto-isolated digital input/output, 2×USB2.0 ports, and 2×RS-485 ports, and the "SATA model," which includes a 2.5-inch SATA drive slot. Each model offers a total of eight types, with options for wireless LAN + Bluetooth or without, and with or without an operating system.

The new product is a tablet-type all-in-one computer that features shock resistance, water resistance, and dust resistance in accordance with MIL standards (MIL-STD-810). It is equipped with a 10.1-inch wide LCD panel that supports 10-point multi-touch, and runs on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, an embedded version of Windows, allowing for intuitive touch operations such as pinch zoom and scrolling. With an IP65 rating, it can be safely used in dust-heavy factories and food factories where water exposure may occur. It offers up to 9 hours of continuous operation and uses a replaceable cartridge-type battery. The new product comes with a variety of accessories, including docking stations, protective covers, and stylus pens, making it suitable not only as a mobile device for business use but also for various applications in fixed installations.
