It possesses both counting speed that rivals scales and counting accuracy that scales cannot achieve, making it a counting machine capable of counting nuts and screws from a single piece to the specified quantity. The Digital Area Counter DAC-300 series accurately counts the number of plated goods and oily metal parts that vary in weight. Products that an optical sensor counter cannot count accurately due to overlapping can be counted precisely using the overlapping compensation function.

The Digital Area Counter is a counting system that utilizes a CCD line sensor (patented). With a 2048-bit element, it can count over 10,000 times per second, making it possible to count flower seeds as small as 0.1mm, which is impossible with standard optical sensors. Additionally, it has a function to cancel out smaller objects than the product, making it suitable for counting products that produce fragments, such as cuttings and small runners.
