Balancing luxury and budget! A case study of custom-made gift boxes for packaged curry.
We would like to introduce a case study of a packaged assortment of retort curry that we created for Kintetsu Retailing, which operates retail and dining businesses both inside and outside the Kintetsu station premises, not just in the "eki-naka" stores within the station. Initially, we inquired whether a "NIS-DX cardboard" or a "G-flute one-piece Thomson box" would be preferable. Although the preference was for the "NIS-DX cardboard" in terms of form, we ultimately decided on the "G-flute one-piece Thomson box" due to budget constraints. The finished product is a luxurious dark brown package designed to conceal the cardboard lining, and the color was changed from green to dark brown for delivery.
