The maximum allowable rotation speed is 59,000 rpm, the highest specification coupling!
Maximum speed of 175 m/s. The allowable torque has increased by 66%, and the maximum speed has increased by 34%!
This product is a coupling that can be used in machine tools, high-speed rotating test machines, turbine-driven machinery, and more. Compared to our conventional products, the allowable torque has increased by 66%, the maximum peripheral speed has increased by 34%, and the moment of inertia has decreased by 42%. 【Features】 ■ High torque ■ High-speed rotation ■ Low moment of inertia *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
basic information
The ROTEX GS HP is a plug-in mounted backlash-free jaw coupling developed for ultra-high-speed rotating equipment. While the spider of the ROTEX GS is a single component, the ROTEX GS HP features a design that inserts multiple elastomers into the hub. The structure that sandwiches the elastomers between the hub pockets and cams achieves high torsional rigidity against loads in the rotational direction (impact torque). Even when the elastomers experience significant centrifugal forces during high-speed rotation or acceleration, the design supported by the pockets prevents any adverse effects on the entire drive system. Traditionally, the maximum peripheral speed for the ROTEX GS type P used in high-speed rotating equipment applications is 100 m/s, but the newly developed ROTEX GS HP achieves 175 m/s. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

30% off axial distance!? Compacting positioning devices with ROTEX GS compact.
We have numerous achievements in Japan, particularly in the positioning devices of the machinery industry. ☆Three Key Points to Note about ROTEX GS Compact☆ 【1】Overwhelming reduction in axial dimensions! Depending on the frame number, the axial dimension is reduced by approximately 30% (compared to our standard products). It is ideal for compacting positioning devices and servo-driven devices. Example) Size 24 standard ROTEX GS total length 78mm vs. GS compact total length 54mm 【2】Increase in allowable rotational speed For size 24 (rated torque 60Nm) and above, an axial slot hub is adopted. While there is a disadvantage of needing to tighten bolts in two places, it has good balance in the direction of rotation and is suitable for high-speed rotation. 【3】Allowable torque and allowable eccentricity remain unchanged! Since the contact area with the shaft is reduced, some consideration for slip torque is necessary when not providing a keyway, but the core specifications of the coupling, namely allowable torque and allowable eccentricity, remain unchanged.
