The "MINEX-S" is a synchronous rotating type magnetic coupling that transmits torque through the magnetic force generated between the inner rotor and the outer rotor. Since torque is transmitted without contact between parts, there is no wear on the components. Therefore, it is suitable for clean rooms, food machinery, packaging machinery, and other applications where wear particles can be problematic. The drive side and the driven side are separated by a containment shroud (partition), allowing it to be used as a sealing component in pumps and stirrers. Because it does not wear due to contact with rotating parts like mechanical seals or gland packing, it can reduce maintenance time and costs.
