KUKA.mxAutomation allows you to program and operate robots using the same software tools as machine tools. The robot's motion processes can be perfectly programmed using SIEMENS' CNC device "SIMUMERIK." This means that no special knowledge is required for robot programming and operation, and users do not need to worry about the differences between machine control and robot control backgrounds. At JIMTOF2014 (October 28 - November 4 at Big Sight), we will demonstrate for the first time in Japan how to directly operate and program robots using the SIEMENS NC control device 840d. This will greatly expand the scope of automation for our users. - Automation of machine tools and other equipment - Easy and reassuring even for first-time robot users, with improved maintainability - Additional processing (deburring, chamfering, polishing, etc.) and quality checks can be performed simultaneously while the machine is operating. This will enable improvements in operational rates, quality, and yield. At the same JIMTOF venue, SIEMENS (booth number: E5028) and Genetec (booth number: E5025) will also showcase actual robots.
