The 'Precision Gear Pump' manufactured by Kyowa Finetech can achieve a very high volumetric efficiency. There is a gap (clearance) on the outer circumference and sides of the gears, and when the pressure on the discharge side is higher than that on the suction side, the fluid on the discharge side flows back through the gap to the suction side.
