Introduction Material "Spring Design and Material Selection You Can Ask Now"
Explaining the key points in selecting materials for springs. Please feel free to consult us about design concerns or prototypes!
"Designing Springs and Material Selection That You Can't Ask Now" is a document created by our company, which specializes in processing leaf springs, based on our know-how regarding the properties of materials. It introduces the key points for material selection, including the necessary elements and the selection process based on mechanical properties. This document is useful for situations such as, "I have inherited past drawings, but I don't know how to make the necessary springs," or "I don't know what criteria to use for selecting materials." 【Contents】 ■ Elements necessary for material selection ■ Selection process based on mechanical property data ■ Characteristic values of representative materials *You can view it immediately via PDF download. Please feel free to consult us about prototypes or material selection based on drawings or some parts.
basic information
**About Prototype Leaf Springs** Our company specializes in thin plate spring products, which are difficult to assess in terms of spring properties, sliding properties, and durability. For the production of blank shapes (cut shapes) during prototyping, we select processing methods considering accuracy and quantity, including fine laser processing (beam diameter 0.03), wire electrical discharge machining, etching, and press processing using simple molds. For bending processing, we utilize a wealth of available temporary molds as much as possible to achieve short delivery times and low costs. We offer a rapid response with a prototype estimate in 3 hours, expedited prototyping in as little as 3 days, and subsequent mold production in as little as 2 weeks. We also accept prototyping orders alone. **Exhibition Information** ◎ Medtec Japan ■ Date: April 9 (Wed) - 11 (Fri), 2025, 10:00 - 17:00 ■ Location: Tokyo Big Sight ■ Booth Number: 805 ◎ Intermold / Mold Exhibition / Metal Press Processing Technology Exhibition <Tokyo> ■ Date: April 16 (Wed) - 18 (Fri), 2025, 10:00 - 17:00 ■ Location: Tokyo Big Sight, East Hall 4 ■ Booth Number: 141-62 *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*

[Notice] We have made an investment in the latest Aizawa-manufactured press brake!
In manufacturing, we don't immediately create molds for mass production; instead, we first produce a few prototypes, typically around 100. What we need for this is the press brake. It is a sheet metal machine used to bend thin sheet metal materials. The features of this machine include high repeatability precision, fine adjustment mechanisms that can be tailored to the product, easy clamp for one-touch mold attachment, quick change, CAD/CAM integration, and the capability for internet connectivity for IoT use! Trust Kyo-Wa Hearts not only for mass-produced items but also for prototypes!

Introduction Materials [Solve Your Metal Processing Problems in One Shot!] Notice of the Flow from Application to Mold Production and Mass Production
"What are the functions of the parts required by the customer?" "Where is precision truly needed?" We will ask the customer's design representatives these questions, and our sales representatives will propose and consult on the machining characteristics and limits of the materials to be processed. We will make suggestions based on our predictions of potential issues, ensuring that we can provide parts that meet the necessary functions and precision at reasonable mold and product prices. Additionally, we will gather information necessary for the estimate, such as the total expected production quantity (guaranteed shots for the mold), before submitting the estimate.

Our company specializes in fine, complex, and precision press processing. *We also sell molds! We can handle everything from examining the shape of customer parts, prototyping, mold manufacturing, to mass production processing. 【Our Expertise Developed Over Time】 1. Deep drawing and flat spring processing 2. Fine processing (plate thickness: 0.03) 3. Complex shapes and high-precision bending processing 4. Processing of difficult materials (titanium, shape memory alloys, magnesium alloys, etc.) 【Proposal Power Supporting Quick Start-Up】 Many customers consult us during product development, asking if certain processing is possible, seeking advice during the conceptual stage, or wanting to start with prototyping. In the development phase, we provide comprehensive advice on material and shape decisions, as well as secondary processing, to fully support the launch of new products. We also believe that "refined products are a testament to stable quality," and we enter mass production only after sufficient adjustments (taking extra care). 【Efforts in In-House Product Development】 We are also engaged in in-house product development utilizing our cultivated precision press processing technology. We have developed a new type of file for binding documents, called "Nuke," which allows for easy insertion and removal of documents from the center, attracting attention as an item that enhances office productivity.
