Savillex PFA decomposition container
Corresponds to microwave pretreatment decomposition for ICP-MS trace element analysis.
The Sabirex PFA decomposition vessel is designed for the pretreatment decomposition of trace element analysis such as ICP-MS. It can be placed directly in a microwave oven, allowing for a reduction in sample decomposition time. There are also containers with a flat bottom exterior suitable for heating on a hot plate. Unlike jars and other containers, the dedicated lid is molded into a screw shape (serrated) considering pressure resistance. Manufactured from high-purity PFA resin, it poses no risk of impurity leaching and is inert to almost all chemical solutions. Due to its excellent liquid release properties, samples can be recovered without loss. *In pressure-intensive decomposition work, the temperature and pressure of the contents can become very high in a short time. This is particularly evident when working in a microwave oven. Please proceed with the correct usage and safety preparations.
basic information
● Can be used directly in a microwave oven ● The screw part is shaped like a sawtooth for pressure resistance ● Maximum pressure resistance: 517KPa (75PSI), decreases by 6.9KPa (1PSI) for every 1°C increase from 38°C ● Made of high-purity PFA, temperature range: -200°C to +260°C ● Can be sterilized in an autoclave ● Always request the lid and container together ● Must be assembled with a glass-reinforced polypropylene tightening wrench set (sold separately) ● Do not fill more than half of the capacity during disassembly ● During disassembly under pressure, the temperature and pressure of the contents can rise very high in a short time
