Since we have a three-dimensional measuring machine in-house, it is possible to repeat the process of polishing and measuring!
We would like to introduce a case where we solved the customer's issue of "difficulty in meeting the surface roughness and shape tolerances specified in the drawings." There are often cases where trying to meet the surface roughness leads to distortion of the shape, and trying to maintain the shape results in failing to meet the surface roughness. In response to this problem, we proposed a method of performing polishing based on the contour measurement values obtained from a three-dimensional measuring machine. With a robust inspection system that allows for accurate measurements and reliable polishing techniques, we were able to implement this solution. As a result, our internal technical capabilities have improved, and we have been able to take on more challenging projects.
