"We want to increase the filtration speed for items that are prone to clogging." When Company I, a food manufacturing manufacturer, considered using a centrifuge for the filtration process in their commercial dashi production line, they consulted us, saying, "Among several types of dashi, there are some that clog the filter cloth during filtration, resulting in poor filtration efficiency, so we want to find a way to increase the processing speed." In response, we proposed and delivered a system that combines a skimming device, which is originally designed for machines with a solid wall basket, with a perforated wall basket. This allows for the simultaneous separation of the supernatant liquid by specific gravity while dewatering from the filter cloth, enabling skimming recovery.
